Terms of Service

Tezlo is operated by Altrooz, Inc. (“we,” “us”). You must be at least 13 years old to use Tezlo. Tezlo is for Tesla owners and enthusiasts and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Tesla, Inc.

Tezlo provides an ownership assistant, local charging and service information, a marketplace of local businesses, and social “Get Away” features for Tesla owners. Much of the local information is crowdsourced or AI-generated and may be incomplete or inaccurate — always verify important details yourself. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

Tezlo offers optional paid subscriptions - currently Tezlo Pro and Tezlo Pro Voice, plus an Additional Car add-on - that unlock premium features. These are auto-renewable subscriptions sold through the Apple App Store and billed to your Apple ID.

• Your subscription automatically renews at the then-current price for the same period (monthly or yearly) unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. You manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions); Tezlo cannot cancel it for you.
• If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; we don’t provide partial refunds.
• Current prices and billing periods are shown in the app before you buy and may change; we’ll notify you of a price increase as required before it takes effect.
• Real-world marketplace services (booking or buying from a local business) are separate from your Tezlo subscription and are paid to that business directly.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Please read this carefully. With your authorization, Tezlo can send information and commands to your Tesla vehicle — for example, sending a destination to your navigation with “Send to Tesla,” or charging-related commands. These are conveniences, and you remain solely responsible for the safe and lawful operation of your vehicle at all times. Do not interact with the app while driving. Tezlo does not control, and is not responsible for, your vehicle’s driver-assistance or self-driving features — those are provided by Tesla and governed by Tesla’s instructions, which you must follow, including remaining attentive and ready to take control. Always obey all traffic laws and Tesla’s own guidance. Vehicle commands may fail, be delayed, or be unavailable (for example, when your car is asleep or offline), and you should never rely on Tezlo for safety-critical functions.

You can disconnect your Tesla at any time. Your use of Tesla’s services remains subject to Tesla’s own terms.

You keep ownership of the photos, descriptions, and other content you submit (“Your Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, adapt, and feature Your Content in Tezlo and its promotion. You represent that you have the rights to what you upload and that it doesn’t infringe others’ rights or law.

Tezlo curates and moderates content to keep it safe and valuable for the community. We showcase a selection of the best photos of each Get Away and may decline to publish, remove, or feature any content at our discretion. Publishing is not guaranteed. Don’t upload content that is unlawful, offensive, misleading, or that you don’t have the right to share.

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. If you see content or a user that violates these terms, report it in the app (the flag or “…” menu on any post, comment, profile, or message) or block the user. We review reports and act on violations — typically within 24 hours — by removing the content and, where warranted, suspending or permanently removing the account responsible.

When you invite someone to a Get Away and provide their name or email, you confirm you have their permission to share that information with us so we can send the invitation.

Tezlo lists third-party local businesses, some of which are sponsored (and marked as such). We don’t provide those services and don’t guarantee any business, its pricing, or its work. Any transaction or booking is solely between you and the business.

Don’t misuse Tezlo: no reverse engineering, scraping, or bypassing security; no unlawful, harmful, or abusive activity; no interfering with the service or other users; and no using Tezlo to build a competing product from our data.

Tezlo, including its software, design, and content (other than Your Content and third-party content), belongs to Altrooz, Inc. “Tesla” and related marks are trademarks of Tesla, Inc.; we use them only to describe compatibility and make no claim to them.

Tezlo is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don’t warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that local information, estimates, or AI-generated content will be accurate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Altrooz, Inc. and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of Tezlo. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or US $100.

You agree to indemnify and hold Altrooz, Inc. harmless from claims arising out of Your Content, your use of the service, or your violation of these terms or applicable law.

You can stop using Tezlo and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or to protect the service or other users.

We may update these terms. When we make material changes, we’ll update the date above and may ask you to review them in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located in California will have jurisdiction over any dispute, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

What the program is. When you ask Tezlo by voice to let someone know you are on the way (for example, “text Greg my ETA”), Tezlo sends that person one short text message from a Tezlo phone number with your first name and estimated arrival time. A typical message reads: “Rob is on the way, arriving around 5:40. Sent via Tezlo. Reply STOP to opt out.” Every message is initiated by you, one at a time, to a person you chose from your own contacts. Tezlo does not send marketing or promotional texts, and there is no subscription or recurring schedule. You are responsible for choosing recipients who are willing to receive the message.

Frequency and cost. Message frequency varies and depends on how often you ask to send one; Tezlo caps each user at ten arrival texts per day. Message and data rates may apply according to the recipient’s mobile plan.

Opting out and help. A recipient can stop receiving Tezlo texts at any time by replying STOP to any message; Tezlo then sends one confirmation and nothing further. Replying START re-enables them. Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact support@tezlo.app.

Privacy. Mobile phone numbers and text-messaging consent are used only to deliver the message you requested. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. See our Privacy Policy.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages; delivery is subject to effective transmission from the recipient’s network operator.
